Wal-Mart Happenings

Hey people! Things have been going pretty good around this place. Yesterday,my great-grandmother
turned 100 years old! It's amazing to realize that she was here for the first World Series, the first
NFL game, probably several presidents, and so on..!

I did not know that Wal-Mart has this "Gossip" policy, but I think I'm for it. Some workers sit around all day and badmouth one another. It becomes a regular hen house at times. Now,you can be fired for gossiping about another associate. I've said a lot about the modern Wal-Mart without Sam Walton, but I believe this something positive and should have happened long ago.

Jeff has got me hooked on Newport cigarettes. Ever since last week in the break room,I've just started loving them things. So much so that I've quit bringing in my usual cigars that chase everyone out. Newport, although a tad bit more expensive, have a great taste and you have minty-fresh breath afterwards.

One beer that I just have to plug is Natural Lite. I love this shit! Awesome cold beer taste....great for fishing!

I had to work an extra day this week. Friday. The manager called me and said he really needed me to come in and there was 2 shifts I could have....I though, HOLYSHIT! Wal-Mart is giving me a choice...So,since mama didn't raise no fool...I chose mid-shift (10AM-5PM) cuz there was no way I was closing again and now I have more money for BEER!

Today is Inventory in my department, which happens every month instead of every year like the rest of the store. This basically translates into me having to put up with everyone in my fucking way all night! They're standing there all night counting and it's hard to get things done! PLUS..I don't know who I'm closing with because Juana and Marlene are on vacation,Tabitha already said she doesn't work that day,and I don't know what the hell is going on with Samantha. I am faced with the overwellmingly-shitty realization that it will probably be Tandi...and that just SUCKS ASS!!!

I'm going to give my Wrestling and Democratic Convention reports either tomorrow or Monday (with some Natural Lite) so see ya then.

GOD I HATE THAT MOTHERFUCKER!! Okay, maybe not as much as Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys, but it's definitely hate!

Cruisin' The Streets

I had to take me a little trip today..through 2 towns and a 12 pack of beer. I gave some beer away at the Sonic to a lucky party-seeker and proceeded on home.I'm basically just relaxing today cause I have to go to work tomorrow. God, my job is starting to suck with all this union shit on top of all the people calling in! COME TO WORK!!

Lindsay Lohan Comes Of Age..Freaky!

Okay,I was roaming the net as I usually do while being slightly inebriated and ran onto a site claiming to have Lindsay Lohan's "boob slip." Am I just old or are these guys totally desperate? Who cares! After you've seen one rack...you've seen'em all! Run over to Thatsjustnotright.com to check it out.

DirecTV Woes

I've finally received my new DirecTV dish! One more day and I was going down there to plant a foot up someone's ass....no kidding! RAW is on in a couple of hours and it'll take me that long to hook the thing up.

More later...I've got a satellite to hook up!

Milla Jovovich Rocks

Hey! After the softball game yesterday,of which we totally kicked ass,I rented The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc starring Milla Jovovich. This woman has some awesome talent! She could definitely conquer me any day of the week. I can't wait until Resident Evil: Apocalypse comes out because she will be great in that movie!

More Great History Movies

I'm going to see King Arthur today after getting me a couple of beers (battle movies are always better with a buzz) and some tamales. This movie seems like a genuine depiction of the Autherian legend without all the Hollywood fluff that usually surrounds something like this "historic" mumbo-jumbo. One thing about movies like the afore-mentioned,Troy,and others is that if you know history you can't enjoy the movie due to the historical inaccuracies. The movie I'm going to see today looks like it's accurate.Let's hope so for 6 bucks!

Sleeper Cells?...Duh!

Gee...do ya think there's maybe some sleeper cells in Iraq that might have been there before the war started? What a bunch of jackasses! We are letting this Abu Musad al-Zarqawi get the better of us by pretending that he's a not a legitimate treat to our safety and in the process have put other troops in danger. Look, I'm glad that Saddam Hussein is gone and extremely proud of our young men and women for taking him down but let's reward their sacriface by making a better attempt at getting them more protection and GOOD intelligence to work with not half-ass shit! Coalition...keep on KICKING ASS!

What An Angle!

Well,it looks like Kurt Angle is back and the Smackdown! roster can breathe a sigh of relief. Maybe now some more interesting matches can be drawn up to make the product better. Since WrestleMania XX and the Triple H fiasco (Damn backstage politics),Smackdown! can start to pull out of their self-inflicted hole. It's been all RAW since March!

Affirmative Action In Softball!!!

You heard right! Those bastards are finally trying to fuck with my blessed sports!! We are required to have at least 2 women playing at all times or give up an out! WHAT THE FUCK! Women kick ass at softball,so please don't get me wrong....but next thing they'll have us do is have 2 blacks, 2 mexicans, 2 Chinese, and so on and so on. THIS MADNESS HAS GOT TO STOP!! See ya later!

Kobe Puts the Squeeze On LA

Hold the presses! Kobe Bryant announces he WILL re-sign with the LA Lakers for $138 million over 7 years! HOLY SHIT! If you do the math that's like $19 million a year! That's a lot of fucking dough. Next season is looking more interesting with every minute!

I will have more on this after my softball double-header. Looks like Bryant has the Lakers by the short and curlies!!!

Shaq Down With The Heat!

Apparently the biggest story in the NBA right now is the trading of Shaquille O'Neal from the Lakers to the Miami Heat. O'Neal sited his
dread of arguing with former team-mate Kobe Bryant as one of his
reasons for wanting to leave. I think that is pure bullshit, but what
do I know....I've just religiously watched the sport for years. Let's
face it,we knew the honeymoon was over and the only thing keeping that
team together was the possibility of winning another NBA Title and a
shitload of money. Shaq is still in his prime, with about 25 to 30 points per game even in the playoffs, but it will be a while before
he'll return to the NBA Finals with the Heat. In defence of the Miami
Heat, they did manage to get to the playoffs. They will definitely
have a better team next year with Shaq on the roster, and are extremely
lucky that the NBA doesn't have a salary cap.

Speaking of Kobe...

District Judge Terry Ruckriegle ruled today that the investigators didn't have the proper court order to take Bryant to the hospital for his medical exam. Proof that once again they have their heads so far up
their asses that they will never convict anyone! Michael Jackson is having wet dreams about the possibilities of prosecutors like these working on his case! But no, my friends, just our beloved Kobe Bryant. I don't know about you,but I'm rooting for Kobe. SIKE!

BCS Bullshit!

We have yet another half-ass attempt by the Bowl Championship Series
at crowning a "true national champion!" These are the same ass-clowns
that said we'd never have a split national championship when they started back in 1998. *cough*BULLSHIT *cough* Two things should have
happened last year. First,Southern Cal should have played LSU to crown
the national champion, then all the other conferences (ex. Conference USA, WAC,etc.) should be added to the BCS formula for this coming season. That is the only way to be fair to all the Divison I-A teams.
More on this later, bacause I have a softball double header this afternoon.

Butterfly Effect

I went out and rented The Butterfly Effect amid all my friends telling me how DEEP a movie it is. Other than Ashton Kutcher being better in comedies,I have to admit it was a good movie. I'm concerned about the message that it may send to some mentally disturbed person, though. The whole "To make things right, you must kill yourself" thing may not fly well with people who don't watch the entire movie. I hope to have a ton of movie reviews on this site,so stay tuned. Well, gotta go raise some hell. Catch ya later!
